Jenn and I went to a business conference over the weekend in Portland, OR. And man did it light us up!
The speakers there took all of our (yours and mine) excuses and threw them right back at our face.
The one thing that came through for me was how passionate these people were in what they do. And that is the key to your success!
If you're investing in RE, why are you doing it? Or if you are in business for yourself, why are you doing that? What is your "why"?
Of course we are in it to make money. But that alone will not motivate you to become successful. How do i know this? You can always get a job to make extra money.
Now if financial independence fires you up, then we're getting somewhere. How about not working for someone else? How about being able to take care of Mom and Dad in their retirement years?
Someone told me that you have to have a dream that is non-negotiable. Your dream is why. And the passion to achieve that dream will get you through the tough times.
That means you can't state your dream then just say, "just kidding!". Or make excuses for why you aren't hitting your goals to make your dream a reality.
You might think this is fru-fru kind of stuff. I'm willing to guess if you think this is fru-fru you aren't where you want to be in your goals.
Even Robert Kiyosaki had a dream when he was building his wealth empire! And he had passion for that dream.
Your dream will keep you focused, and your passion will guide you though the bumps and pot holes you'll run into on your way to success.
As Ron Clark says, "Dream Big, Take Risks!"
See you on the Fast Track!
